1st Lt. Mientus, a registered dietitian with the 10th Mountain Division Sustainment Brigade Holistic Health and Fitness program, led a class on the benefits of communal eating during the H2F-hosted Company Climb Synergy Symposium at Fort Drum, New York, Feb. 27, 2025. She encouraged Soldiers to make time for shared meals with teammates at least once a week, emphasizing how eating together fosters stronger connections and builds unit cohesion. Through discussion, Soldiers explored how conversations over a meal can create a supportive environment, making it easier to bond, share experiences, and even navigate difficult topics. The class reinforced the idea that something as simple as sitting down for a meal together can have a lasting impact on morale and team dynamics. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. 1st Class Travis Fontane).
