BACAU, Timor-Leste (Feb. 11, 2025) Utilityman 2nd class, Anthony Garcia from Las Vegas, Nevada, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 (NMCB-3), and Sgt Jacob Arnold from Grenada, Mississippi, assigned to 7th ESB Marines and attached to NMCB-3 begin the installation process for rough-in plumping, beginning to layout the pipes for all necessary utilities in the bathroom for the office space. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments. The battalion operates at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility, with expertise in airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
