BACAU, Timor-Leste (Feb. 13, 2025) Detail Timor-Leste, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 (NMCB-3), and 7TH ESB Marines attached to NMCB-3, gather for a moment together with two representatives from the United States Embassy, Major Aaron Harris, Chief, Office of Defense Cooperation and Chasen Peabody, Regional Security Office. The two representatives express that the U.S. Embassy is proud of our work and hopes for continued projects for us in the future. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments. The battalion operates at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility, with expertise in airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
