Vice President Dick Cheney speaks to recruits from the forward brow of the Navy's newest training simulator USS Trayer. Cheney was at Naval Station Great Lakes to visit with recruits at the Navy's only recruit training center. BST 21 simulates shipboard emergencies to evaluate Sailors completing training and marks the recruit's final rite of passage into the Navy. Cheney also spoke to more than 4,000 Sailors at Recruit Training Command's Pacific Fleet Drill Hall.
