Michael L. Kufchak was seven years old when he received communion in 1969. He attended St. Stanislaus Church School, a Catholic school in Youngstown, Ohio. Currently, he serves as the 1st Marine Division sergeant major. Kufchak attributes part of his morals to his strong family upbringing and Catholic faith, as well as lessons learned while serving in the Marines.
