Thomas Richardson, both of the 295th Signal Network Support Company, to set up a field node station April 13 to make the best use of space. The North Carolina Army National Guard unit tested the equipment in preparation for annual training. Montoya said this equipment encrypts classified information transferred through military communications. The equipment was set-up in a tent and the small grid was up and running by mid morning.
