Sean Kawash, a 411th Civil Affairs Battalion specialist in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, demonstrates proper CPR procedure on a training dummy during a best-practices- for-first-responders exchange in Dikhil, Djibouti, April 15, 2013. Overall, the event afforded teachers from Dikhil-area primary schools the opportunity to network and practice life-saving techniques. Best practices included CPR, dental hygiene, and responding to heat, eye and head injuries, bruises, sprains and breaks, bleeding, shock and burns. The event culminated with a practical exercise.
