The 1st Radio Battalion “Freqs,” beat the 9th Communications Battalion “Knights” through seven innings of softball with a score of 11-3 during the Commanding General’s Cup softball league championship game held at the 14-area Softball field here May 22. The battalion received a 1st place trophy and each player received a championship medal for being on the winning team. The Commanding General’s Cup consists of all kinds of sports and recreational activities and is a competition for all the battalions on base.
