Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Nat Moger and Army Spc. Cody Black reflect on the surf-and-turf remains of "Udder Chaos," their entry in this year's U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Great Cardboard Box Boat Regatta, held May 31, 2008. The event drew 33 cardboard vessels this year, a record for the competition. The cow-themed vessel did win the "Best Titanic" award for its capsize early in the race. Joint Task Force Guantanamo conducts safe and humane care and custody of detained enemy combatants. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the Global War on Terror and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations. JTF Guantanamo is committed to the safety and security of American service members and civilians working inside its detention facilities.
