Paratroopers from the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, conducted airborne operations with C-17 Globemaster aircraft delivering more than 300 soldiers, a M119A2 105 mm howitzer, and a M252 81 mm mortar. Operation Spartan Reach, a three-day mass exercise simulating rapid deployment into a hostile area, is the largest of its kind since the unit's activation in 2005.
