Army Sgt. Xanthus Bucko, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, establishes communications immediately after parachuting onto Malamute Drop Zone, June 5, 2013. Paratroopers from the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, conducted airborne operations with C-17 Globemaster aircraft delivering more than 400 soldiers, M119A2 105 mm howitzers, and container delivery systems. Operation Spartan Reach, a three-day mass exercise simulating rapid deployment into a hostile area, is the largest of its kind since the unit's activation in 2005.
