Six-year-old Ryleigh and her dad, Sgt. 1st Class Matthew Maloy, shoot water at a fellow cavalrymen in an effort to simulate, for the children, the Army's weapons qualification range. The station was part of a children's "Spur Ride" held by the 6th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, at Fort Knox, Ky., June 21. For soldiers, the Spur Ride is an honored tradition which tests soldiers both mentally and physically in a variety of Army related tasks. The children's Spur Ride incorporated those tasks into related events for the families. (U.S. Army Photo By: Sgt. Thomas Duval, 3/1 Public Affairs)
