Nine-year-old Jack Gooding squirts water at a fellow cavalrymen in an effort to simulate, for the children, the Army's weapons qualification range. The station was part of a children's "Spur Ride" held at Fort Knox, Ky., June 21. For soldiers, the Spur Ride is an honored tradition which tests soldiers both mentally and physically in a variety of Army related tasks. The children's Spur Ride incorporated those tasks into related events for the families. (U.S. Army Photo By: Sgt. Thomas Duval, 3/1 Public Affairs)
