Families and friends gathered at Volk Field, Wis., Thursday (July 11) to welcome more than 130 members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard's 229th Engineer Company of Prairie du Chien and Platteville, Wis., and the 106th Quarry Detachment from Tomah, Wis., following a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan.
