Ohio Governor Bob Taft stands beneath a tent covering a stack of bagged ice and talks with a Soldier working at a distribution point at the Post 58 American Legion hall in northern Hancock County, Miss. The troops at the hall have been handing out food, water, ice and supplies to aid the people in the battered gulf coast region. The supply point is operated by Joint Task Force Buckeye, Ohio's military response in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The governor stopped at the supply point as he traveled through the area to meet with deployed Ohio National Guard troops and survey storm damage. hkat
