Ohio Governor Bob Taft and an area resident talk at a distribution point for food, water, ice and supplies at the Post 58 American Legion hall in northern Hancock County, Miss. The governor held the woman's hand and listened as she told him about the effects of Hurricane Katrina on her family and home. The supply point is operated by Joint Task Force Buckeye, Ohio's military effort to aid the people in the battered gulf coast region. The governor stopped at the hall as he traveled through the area to meet with deployed Ohio National Guard troops and survey the storm damage. hkat
