Vice Adm. Robin Braun, chief of Navy Reserve and commander, Navy Reserve Force, and Raoufpur Kurosh, P.E., DPWO for Reserve Centers & Special Areas, NAVFAC Southwest cut the ribbon to open the new training facility for Navy Operational Support Center Ventura County. The NOSC leadership and the 39 units’ commanding officers attended the event. The new facility was identified as necessary when Port Hueneme and Point Mugu NOSCs merged last year creating NOSC Ventura County.
