Command Sgt. Maj. Richard D. Raby, of Okmulgee, Okla., prepares to pass the colors of the 120th Engineer Battalion to outgoing commander Col. Jackie R. Ritter, of Tulsa, Okla., during the unit's change of command ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 15. The passing of the unit colors is a time-honored tradition within the Army from outgoing unit commander to the incoming commander. Lt. Col Mark W. Clifton, of Edmond, Okla., assumed command of the engineer battalion, and was followed by a change of responsibility with Sgt. Maj. James. J. Ivy, of Newcastle, Okla., assuming the role of the unit's new sergeant major.
