KHAWR AL AMAYA OIL TERMINAL, North Arabian Gulf -- Gunner's Mate 2nd Class Elizabeth Campos, a native of Milwaukee, Wis., and a member of the Norfolk, Va.-based Mobile Security Detachment 25 (MSD 25), gives directions during routine weapons training aboard the Khawr Al Amaya oil terminal, Sept. 27. MSD 25, part of a multinational coalition conducting maritime security operations (MSO), is working directly with Iraqi maritime forces to prevent attacks against the oil terminals that provide a significant source of Iraq's revenue. MSO set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations. MSO deny international terrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons, or other material. U.S. Navy photo by Chief Journalist Tom Jones.
