Scott Stapp, the former lead singer of the music group Creed, performed his hit song ,"My Sacrifice," for the crew of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan on the ship's flight deck during a concert sponsored by the ship's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department. Stapp performed a selection of songs for his former band Creed as well as selections from his solo album. MWR sponsors events to raise to Sailor morale and provide Sailors with unique recreation activities. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed in the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibilities. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
