KIRKUK, Iraq (Nov. 23, 2005) -- An Iraqi Army soldier checks the identification of a driver entering a Traffic Control Point in Kurkuk, Iraq, today. Members of 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky., worked with the IA to set up the control point. Soldiers and leaders on both sides hoped today's searches would shed some light on a string of recent attacks along one route through the city.
