KIRKUK, Iraq (Nov. 23, 2005) -- Sergeant Jason Powell, 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky., confirms the validity of an identification card with an Iraqi Army soldier. First BCT Soldiers worked with members of an Iraqi Army company to set up a Traffic Control Point in Kirkuk, Iraq, today. The Cleaveland, Tenn., native pulled security and assisted with vehicle searches at the control point.
