KIRKUK, Iraq (Nov. 23, 2005) -- An Iraqi Army soldier stands guard near a route that has seen several terrorist attacks in the past week. Members of 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky., worked with the IA to set up a Traffic Control Point in Kurkuk, Iraq, today. Soldiers and leaders on both sides hoped today's searches would shed some light on perpetrators of the attacks.
