Chief Warrant Officer 2 Tom Heald of the 824th Transportation Company (Heavy Watercraft) in Morehead City, N.C., gives a tour to Maj. Gen. Gill Beck, commanding general of the 81st Regional Support Command, on May 3. The 824th had a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly reconstructed pier that had been destroyed in 2011 by Hurricane Irene. Here on the bridge of U.S. Army Vessel Missionary Ridge, Heald talks about the boat's capabilities.
