Spc. Rogelio Rodriguez, armament avionic electronic technician, Company D, 4th Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, from Elsa, Texas, checks the weapons systems on a AH-64D Apache attack helicopter during a training exercise on Camp Taji Nov. 24. The training exercise primarily focused on the recertification of a system known as the Advanced Aviation Forward Area Refueling System. The AAFARS is a modular, portable, lightweight refueling apparatus designed for rapid refueling of forward-area military aircraft. Soldiers from the brigade have been conducting the refueling exercises throughout the month of November.
