Personnel with the AV-8 Fleet Support Team based out of Cherry Point, N.C., inspect pieces of debris at the AV-8B Harrier II crash site in Imperial, Calif., Tuesday. The process of recovering pieces of debris from the site allows the gathering of evidence vital to the investigation of the crash. Once the recovery efforts are complete, environmental remediation will become the focus.
