A heavy equipment operator with Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., prepares to move debris and final components of the aircraft packaged for transport during the recovery and cleanup process of the AV-8B Harrier II crash site in Imperial, Calif., Tuesday. “The community response has been outstanding and the City [of Imperial] officials have been great,” said Capt. John Stuart, the Harrier crash site officer-in-charge for the day. “I think [the turnover of the site] will be smooth, and we look forward to getting the neighborhood back to better than it was.”
