A heavy equipment operator with Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., working at the AV-8B Harrier II crash site in Imperial, Calif., places the packaged debris and final components of the aircraft onto the Oshkosh Defense Logistics Vehicle System Replacement during the recovery process, Tuesday. “Marine presence will be very minimal after the completion of the fence [surrounding the site], but the priority is to take care of the community and the people,” said Capt. John Stuart, the Harrier crash site officer-in- charge for the day.
