The 1st Cavalry Division band helped set the mood for the Single Soldier’s Fest hosted by Fort Hood's Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers, June 13 at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation. “(BOSS events) can give (Soldiers) a better outlook on things,” said Pvt. Kaleb Ayers, a geospatial intelligence imagery analyst assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company “Hammer,” 1st Brigade Combat Team “Ironhorse,” 1st Cavalry Division. “From resilience training, you learn key things that can help people get their minds off of (stress).
