Lt. Col. Matthew W. Stover thanks Okinawa and its residents on behalf of Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152 July 15 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma during the squadron’s take off ceremony. The ceremony commemorates the beginning of VMGR-152’s transfer to MCAS Iwakuni as part of the Marine Corps and Government of Japan’s bilateral effort to reduce impact to communities around MCAS Futenma, realign the presence and distribute the activities of U.S. forces in Japan.
