A convoy of Soldiers with the 1st Brigade Combat Team (Bastogne), 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), moves into their objective to conduct multiple training events at the premiere Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) at Fort Polk, La., Aug. 15, 2014. JRTC provides Soldiers the ability to test and validate their skills in an expeditionary and interdependent environment. The Air Assault Soldiers are not only honing their abilities to insert themselves into key locations through the use of air assault capabilities, but they are able to increase their level of confidence in working within a complex operating environment that involves the intermingling of conventional and irregular forces, criminals and refuges.
