Boatswain's Mate 1st Class T.J. Kendall, from San Diego, watches as goods are transferred by an MH-60S Seahawk from the Red Lions of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 15 to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104). Sterett is underway as part of the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group. Carl Vinson and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17, are on deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
