Sgt. Darius Bennett of Bravo Battery, 4th Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade based in Grafenwoehr, Germany, and a Tyler, Texas native, shows the sight of an M119-A2 howitzer to Latvian Pfc. Ernest Arins with Fire Support Company, Land Force Infantry Brigade, Sept. 25 at a combined training event here. It was the first time the Latvian Fire Support Company was able to view the howitzer close-up and receive a capabilities brief on the weapon. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is currently participating in Operation Atlantic Resolve, a series of exercises and regional training activities throughout the Baltic states as a demonstration of U.S. commitment to NATO allies.
