Soldiers from Bravo Battery, 4th Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade based in Grafenwohr, Germany, got a spontaneous chance to examine inside the mobile Latvian Field Direction Center, which is pulled by a Hagglund Bv206 Personnel Carrier, September 25. The tracked vehicles belong to the Fire Support Company, Land Force Infantry Brigade, Latvia, who were on hand to tour the U.S. m119 A2 howitzer operation. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is currently participating in a series of exercises and regional training activities throughout the Baltic States as a demonstration of U.S. commitment to NATO allies.
