U.S. Marines with Headquarters Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, run through the streets of the Algiers community during the annual motivational run in celebration of the United States Marine Corps Birthday, New Orleans, La., Nov. 7, 2014. This motivational run started at Marine Force Reserve Support Facility and traveled along the Mississippi River banks through the street of Algiers Point. Over 500 Marines and sailors assigned to the command partook in this year’s event. This year marks the 239th Anniversary of the founding of the United States Marine Corps.
