Marines and sailors from Marine Corps Forces Reserve, assemble in column in front of the Marine Corps Force Reserve Support Facility to participate in a 3-mile motivational run in honor of the 239th Marine Corps Birthday Celebration at Marine Corps Force Reserve Support Facility, New Orleans, La., Nov. 7, 2014. This motivational run will start at Marine Corps Force Reserve Support Facility and travel along the Mississippi River banks through the streets of Algiers Point. It is expected that over 500 Marines and sailors assigned to the command will partake in this year’s event. This year marks the 239th Anniversary of the founding of the United States Marine Corps.
