U.S. Marine Col. Steven Godinho, Commanding Officer of Headquarters Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, leads the Marines and sailors with U.S. Marine Sgt. Maj. Rene Salinas, Sergeant Major of Headquarters Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, back onto the Marine Corps Support Facility during the annual motivational run in celebration of the United States Marine Corps Birthday, New Orleans, La., Nov. 7, 2014. This motivational run started at Marine Force Reserve Support Facility and traveled along the Mississippi River banks through the street of Algiers Point. Over 500 Marines and sailors assigned to the command partook in this year’s event. This year marks the 239th Anniversary of the founding of the United States Marine Corps.
