After successfully leading his troops through a demanding training exercise, Sgt. Austin Anderson, from 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion. 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, briefly removes his eye protection to wipe the sweat from his brow during Exercise Combined Resolve III, Grafenwoehr, Germany, Nov. 17, 2014. During this training exercise, the Army requires infantry platoons to go through three iterations: a blank-fire iteration, a live-fire iteration, and a live-fire iteration at night.
