U.S. Army Spc. Lesley Ogle gives medicine to a Filipino man’s puppy at a veterinary civic action project in Samar June 22. Ogle and a combined team of military and volunteer veterinary specialists teamed up with local veterinarians to conduct the clinic as part of Pacific Partnership 2012. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission that brings together U.S. military personnel, host and partner nations, non-government organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
