Pacific Partnership 2012 (PP12) Mission Leadership from Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH-19) gather with Vietnamese officials at a PP12 welcoming ceremony in Vinh City 10 July. The event was held as a meet-and-greet between PP12 and Vietnamese officials to kick off the mission in Vietnam. Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission which brings together U.S. military personnel, host and partner nations, non-government organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
