Marines with Company C, 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, become casualties on the way to rushing to another building Dec. 10 during a town defense simulation at the Central Training Area. The building the company occupied was overrun, so they ran to another strategic placement in an attempt to hold the offense off. The Marines defended combat town against the Company E, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. After the town was taken over, the 3rd LE Marines were searched for intelligence and high value targets were detained by the offense.
