Lance Cpl. Justin Baumeister, from Hebron, Indiana, provides security Dec. 10 during a town defense simulation at the Central Training Area. Company C, 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion defended the town against forces with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit to act as an aggressor in an urbanized environment. The training prepared the Marines for combat scenarios, formulating plans of defense, and tested the leadership.
