A Latvian child gets lifted up to the top an American military vehicle in Saulkrasti, Latvia March 22. The 2nd Cavalry Regiment was taking a maintenance break during their Dragoon Ride from Tapa, Estonia, where they have been training with the Estonian Army, back to their home base in Vilseck, Germany, as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Operation Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the Baltic Region. Enhanced land force multi-national training and security cooperation activities take place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania to ensure multi-national interoperability and strengthen relationships among allied militaries.
