U.S. Marines with Golf Company, Battalion Landing Team 2/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), provide suppressive fire on targets with an M240B medium machine gun during an infantry platoon battle course at Fort Pickett, Va., April 17, 2015. Range safety officers controlled the deployment of targets and waited until teams demonstrated proper suppressive tactics before putting them back down. The 26th MEU and its supporting elements are conducting realistic urban training in preparation for deployment to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility later this year.
