U.S. Marines with Golf Company, Battalion Landing Team 2/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), provide cover-fire while conducting combat maneuvers during an infantry assault course at Fort Pickett, Va., April 17, 2015. Marines had to demonstrate they could perform proper combat tactics and maneuvers before range safety officers would put down targets. The 26th MEU and its supporting elements are conducting realistic urban training in preparation for deployment to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility later this year.
