A Marine with Light Armored Reconnaissance, Battalion Landing Team 2/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, goes through casualty procedures as his team member simulates a injury sustained during an Improvised Explosive Device aboard Fort Pickett, Va., April 15, 2016. During this exercise, Marines were tasked with navigating an IED lane and there were critique on how they reacted when in contact with one and once one was detonated. IED lanes are used to teach Marines what to expect when looking for a device, how to react once one is spotted and once one is detonated. (Official U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Dalton A.
