150510-N-IY633-059 ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 10, 2015) – Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2) German oiler FGS Spessart (A 1442) steams alongside SNMG2 flagship USS Vicksburg (CG 69) for an underway replenishment during exercise Dynamic Mongoose. Dynamic Mongoose is an annual anti-submarine warfare (ASW) exercise hosted by NATO Submarine Command aimed at enhancing Alliance ASW ability and techniques. Submarines from Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the United States are participating with surface ships from Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
