150510-N-IY633-128 ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 10, 2015) – Commander, Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2), Rear Adm. Brad Williamson waves to Sailors aboard ESPS Blas de Lezo (F 103) as the ship comes alongside SNMG2 flagship USS Vicksburg (CG 69) to render honors during exercise Dynamic Mongoose. Dynamic Mongoose is an annual anti-submarine warfare (ASW) exercise hosted by NATO Submarine Command aimed at enhancing Alliance ASW ability and techniques. Submarines from Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the United States are participating with surface ships from Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
