An MH-60S Knighthawk, assigned to the "Blackjacks" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21, positions itself to pick up cargo off the flight deck of the fast combat-support ship USNS Rainier during a replenishment at sea with the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. During a RAS ships come alongside one another to transfer fuel, ammunition and stores. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
