Two MH-60S Knighthawks, assigned to the "Black Jacks" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21, manuver around each other to transfer cargo from the fast-combat support ship USNS Rainier during a replenishment at sea evolution with the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The Knighthawk is used for logistics support, vertical replenishment, search and rescue and naval special warfare support. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
